This is a view of Brewster, WA, an agricultural town along the Columbia River. I happened upon this vista by chance while driving on a really bad dirt road miles from any paved hwy, looking for
good painting vistas. I decided to stay here as it was getting late. I didn't recollect the old picture above until sometime later. I think the similarities are uncanny. Somthing you don't see in
the photo below is a large bridge across the river being obscured by the trees in the foreground. I have never been to Brewster, as far as I know, until this year. |
