In addition to the typically poor drawing, the major problem I have with this is the over- dramatization. I think "Abraham" express the idea more
eloquently. The broken bust on the table adds a nice 'classical' touch to the piece. |

...i kind of like Father Flame Thrower. That one is cool, even though it is a little melodramatic. Technical skill isn't too important, but this one is
technically there, in a minimalistic sense. That and the idea of burning your children (with words, of course) is appealing to me. I like this one better than Abraham, because it doesn't try to be an indoctrination of

When you say "the major problem I have with this is the over- dramatization" my immediate reaction is revoltion. This is a great painting. Strong
images, symbolism, and archetypes are neglected in today's art because artists think that subtle means profound...that is bullshit and i hope you give strong, simple symbolism another chance in your art.
